Is it too late for me to do Pilates?

There are so many myths and misunderstandings when it comes to starting Pilates.

Most people think It’s for older women to gather and gossip on a weekend, or for people who have back pain, but it’s so much more than that.

We see clients from every walk of life, and so many have finally found what they were looking for, allowing them to finally achieve their goals.

But you may be thinking…

Are you too old? It’s just stretching right? I surely can’t do it if I’m injured?

It’s not what you think! We see people of age ranges starting from children all the way to the 80’s.

People come in on crutches, as well as right before or after surgery.

With our classes being small we are able to cater to everyone who walks through the door.

To be a little more specific, we’re not saying that Pilates is some magical miracle cure for everyone, but there is real knowledge backing this practice – in our studio, we take all new members through a  brief consultation before starting classes.

This gives us the best start towards applying very in depth and specific methods towards helping YOU.

That’s right, we don’t just copy paste every classical Pilates move and say that it works.

We specifically engineer Pilates as a fun and challenging treatment for YOU.

And with training as sports therapists, we can apply that knowledge to our classes, giving you peace of mind that even if you’ve had arthritis for many years, or are looking to get back into fitness, Pilates really is the key to getting you on track.

How can you be so sure?

Well, we’ve seen it for ourselves.

As someone who was skeptical as to how effective the principles and practices of Pilates are, I have seen client after client go from debilitating injuries and ailments, to living a pain free life.

If you’re still not convinced, do the research! There’s a lot of science and controversy out there, but trust me, you will see all of the history, science, and real people (both young and old) who have found a place in this community.
